- However, amateur equipment doesn't have to be type accepted. So, if
- your business give you an HT that is type-accepted for the business
- band, there's nothing to keep you from programming ham frequencies into
- it and using it on the ham bands. That's fine, and strongly recommended.

- and am amazed that anyone would ever want to convert ham gear to use
